The patent process: from national filing to PCT
Our claim is not a single part, but three elements working together.
Our patent application has completed the national stage and is moving into the international (PCT) phase.
A question we hear often: “A toilet with a bag isn’t new — what exactly are you protecting?” Fair. The bag isn’t new. What is new is three things working together: the elastic ring that cinches the mouth the instant use ends, the nonwoven package that passes liquid while retaining solids, and the transfer that lowers the package without contact.
In our prior-art search we found no system performing phase separation inside the package, at the moment of use. Systems exist that separate afterwards, in a separate tank — but by then odour and contact risk have already occurred.
