Why we built it
Roughly a third of the world lacks safe sanitation — but the same gap exists in a caravan, on a boat, on a construction site and after a disaster.
Every portable solution today assumes a "next step": a water tank, a chemical, a dump station, a vacuum truck. Without that step, there is no solution.
We went back to the problem: instead of storing waste, could it be turned into a sealed package the moment it is produced? The answer came from combining elastic cinching with nonwoven phase separation.
Why existing solutions fall short
Chemical toilet
Masks odour with chemicals and liquefies waste. Water, a tank and a dump point are mandatory, and the chemical waste is an environmental burden of its own.
Composting toilet
It separates phases, but the process is slow and delegated to the user: stirring, ventilating, drying. Under heavy use it fills up fast.
Bag-based emergency kits
The user ties the bag by hand. Contact risk, odour and liquid leakage remain, and no liquid-solid separation happens at all.

Patent approach
Our claim is not a single part but three elements working together: the elastic cinching ring, the liquid-permeable nonwoven package, and gravity-driven package transfer.
The application began as a national filing and is being carried into the international phase via PCT.
A prior-art search found no system that performs phase separation inside the package, at the moment of use.
